Moonphase
A lunar phase or phase of the moon refers to the appearance of the illuminated portion of the Moon as seen by an observer. The significance of the moon ranges from ancient pagan religions and societies who have their orientation chronological by the Moon as opposed to the sun. One common example is Hinduism in which the word Chandra means Moon and has religious significance particularly during the Hindu festivals. The words lunacy, lunatic, and loony are derived from Luna because of the folk belief in the moon as a cause of periodic insanity. Have you considered how the moon cycles affect you?
